What do you get when a country-blues-loving fingerstyle guitarist named Reverend Peyton marries a washboard player whose brother happens to play the drums and owns a van large enough to haul a family? You get one insanely awesome Big Damn Band coming to your area.

The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn has only been around for three years, in that time period these country-blues aficionados from rural Indiana have played more than 250 shows annually and logged more miles on their van than most acts who have been around for a decade.

“We end up playing with a lot of punk rock bands and any kind of roots acts from bluegrass to alt-country to rockabilly to you name it,” the Reverend himself answers when asked what a typical Big Damn Band performance is like, “we’ll play with anyone, really.”

That simple axiom is one of the things that sets Peyton’s band apart; Big Damn Band somehow crosses the barriers between indie rock/punk rock kids, scenesters, and traditional blues fans. At a BDB show, one is likely to get a taste of a myriad of genres fraternizing under one immensely eclectic umbrella. Frequent touring has allowed the Reverend’s band to perfect their bluesy show, giving showgoers a full-on experience they’ll be talking about for years. That experience will come to Panama City Beach October 7th as Pineapple Willy’s Pier Bar hosts what could be one of PCB’s most exciting events all year. Don’t miss Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band.

The idea behind the Seafood Wine and Music Festival is simple – a celebration of the wonderful array of local area seafood prepared by local chefs merged with local and area wines, entertainment and vendors with a special focus on families. Bouncer Village & Family Yoga - Brought to you by Beach Bouncers on Panama City Beach, kids get to enjoy a full Bouncer Village, featuring over a dozen giant bouncy experiences for them to bounce themselves silly. For those looking to relax, family yoga classes and exercises will be available Saturday and Sunday.

5. Frank Brown Park – There is simply no better venue to host Panama City Beach’s signature event than Frank Brown Park. With loads of space, on site restrooms, power and wi-fi and even a world-class pool if you need to cool off. Bikers, vendors and exhibitors from around the country descend on PCB, Florida for Panama City Beach Bike Week and locals get to ride into all the fun. Tradition continues at The Shoppes at Edgewater, Since the Spring of 2002 when Thunder Beach first became a free rally, this original venue is still one of our largest, encompassing some 75,000 sq. ft. with vendors of all types. Here the Thunder Beach MAIN STAGE rocks from 11 AM to 11 PM, Thursday through Saturday, with local & regional entertainment. If you come a little early, we will even have live entertainment from 7 PM – 10 PM Wednesday night! The Sgt. Kevin Kight Memorial Thunder Beach Bike Parade lines up just across the street, at 10:00 AM on Saturday. Over the last three years Frank Brown Park has grown into our largest Venue and Biker shopping Paradise! This is where you will find the most expansive layout of exhibits, bike builders, Official Merchandise, vendors, and daily activities such as the always popular stunt show, bike games and more! For the Autumn 2009 Rally ,Thunder Beach Productions has arranged the biggest displays and the most variety of products we have ever offered at the Thunder Beach Rally. Over the last year improvements at the Park that include a paved road all the way around the exhibit area, and an entrance/exit at Pier Park Road have made this location one of the premier spots to visit at the Rally. The legendary Johnny Cash – the rebellious nerve of outlaw country infused with soulful blues that penetrates, this is Johnny Cash, one of the most beloved artists of all time. Paying tribute to such a talent is difficult, if not bordering on impossible. No band in America pulls of Cash like Folsom Prison Gang, a five man band hailing out of Western North Carolina.
