Thursday – Pier Park Concert Cyril Neville (of the Neville Brothers) – R&B/Rock
Title: Cyril Neville (of the Neville Brothers) – R&B/Rock Location: Pier Park Date: Thursday – June 25th – 7:00pm Here’s a taste of Cyril Neville “One of the four Neville Brothers, Cyril Neville was the youngest, born on January 10, 1948, in New Orleans, LA. Cyril picked up his love of music from his parents and his older brothers at an early age, but it wasn’t until 1967 (at the age of 19) that Cyril began singing professionally, as he united with brothers Art and Aaron in the outfit Art Neville and the Neville Sounds, playing the New Orleans club circuit on a regular basis. Thursday – Pier Park Concert – Rollin in the Hay – New Grass
Title: Pier Park Concert – Rollin in the Hay – New Grass Location: Pier Park Date: Thursday June 18th. Here’s a taste of the upcoming band: Rollin In The Hay “Combine the good times and instruments of a front porch hoe down with the muscle of a power trio, and the savvy of veteran touring musicians. Coat that with a little caffeine-laced three part harmony and you begin to understand the sound of Rollin’ in the Hay. This Birmingham, Alabama based band has become one of the forerunners in the “Newgrass” musical revolution in America. Their constant touring from colleges to concert halls has taken them coast to coast playing their souped-up brand of acoustic grassrock. Opening shows for everyone from Greg Allman to Widespread Panic, the sound of the...

Just Grand: The Grand Theatre
Located in the heart of Pier Park, The Grand 16 Theatre is a beacon of fun that shines through those rainy beach days. With 16 screens The Grand has room for every summer blockbuster and indie flick you could possible want to see, and it just gets better as every screen has digital sound and wall to wall screens. All the theatres have stadium seating so the guy in front of you will never block your view. The only problem is the seats are so comfortable I have fallen asleep more than once. One of the most important parts of any theatre going experience is the concession stand. At the Grand this is the most difficult part. The old saying “It’s like bein...
