Pompanos
Whenever Panama City Beach tourists approach locals to find out the secret place where locals go to get the freshest and tastiest seafood, they learn that the answer is actually no secret at all. Repeatedly the response all the around the beach is Pompano’s. Located at the entrance to the strip on Front Beach Road, Pompano’s has been a staple on Panama City Beach for years perfecting the art of seafood, steak and sushi with gulf style and flavor. For those Panama City Beach enthusiasts Pompanos sits on the same popular spot where once the Kona Kai and Petticoat Junction stood, prime location for access to fun after a full belly and a few drinks.
Pompano’s’ atmosphere is a blend of intimacy and relaxation, deep wood colors and a nautical theme welcome you as yo...

Recession Approved: Roy’s Burgers, Dogs & Fries
Every town in America has a special little burger joint where you can casually hangout with friends and chow down. Panama City Beach is no exception. One of the local’s favorite chill-and-fill places is Roy’s. Roy’s keeps it simple and delicious with its menu and worthwhile with its prices.
Located in the corner of the Shoppes at Edgewater, Roy’s feels like a 60’s style diner with images of Elvis and checkerboard floors and such. But the food is all modern and all good. Definitely one of the best hot dogs on the beach, you can get that baby grilled or steamed and the combination of specialty toppings seems to have no limit. The burgers at Roy’s will fill you up but not weigh down your pocket. And ...

Within the prismatic Nautilus Station on Panama City Beach Parkway, East meets West in a fusion of delicious proportions. Quite possibly the best Sushi in town can be relished at Shan Kishi, PCB’s newest Japanese restaurant.
Not very large in total space, seating around 60-70 people, Shan Kishi is intimate and charming, colored in calming brown shades and lots of wood. There is a very natural vibe in the spot and it just “feels” authentic. I mean, while dining, I actually would not be surprised to see the tables moved for an impromptu Tai Chi session. Priced comparably for a restaurant of that caliber, the sushi alone is worth the trip and the flavorful hibachi delights will keep you coming back.
Appetizers: Cold starters include sushi or sashimi appetizers, pepper tuna tataki, baked...
