Walk The Line @ Pineapple Willy’s Pier Bar
The legendary Johnny Cash – the rebellious nerve of outlaw country infused with soulful blues that penetrates, this is Johnny Cash, one of the most beloved artists of all time. Paying tribute to such a talent is difficult, if not bordering on impossible. No band in America pulls of Cash like Folsom Prison Gang, a five man band hailing out of Western North Carolina. While the spirit of the music exists in their delivery and performance, Folsom Prison Gang is not an impersonation band by any stretch of the imagination.
The Folsom Prison Gang consists of five ultra-talented musicians, including lead vocalist Raven who performs Cash like no one else, producing quality live performances that recreate the popular vintage sounds associated with Johnny Cash’s music. What you get then is a masterful rendition of the classic music you love by great musicians; no frills, no mess, just good ol’ Johnny Cash.
The Folsom Prison Gang will be performing At Pineapple Willy’s Pier Bar on Panama City Beach, September 17th through the 18th and you don’t want to miss what is going to be an amazing show.

These guys did a great job when they were at Pineapple Willy’s in 2009. They returned again in 2011 for three nights and, one again, did a great job. They have recently released an album of 10 Cash covers (obviously) that is available directly from the band or from various online sources. The title of the album is “Cash Only” and you can read a couple reviews of the album here:
