Cleverly placed right in the middle of Panama City Beach lies a family oriented Irish sports pub, Beef O Brady’s. With 20 inch flat panels at each table and big screens hung on the walls throughout, there’s always something to keep you entertained and the food’s great too!
Subscribing to all the sports packages, including football, baseball and Nascar, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is the place to go to watch your favorite sports. Whether you are watching from your own personal TV or one of the several big screen flat panels hung on the walls, you’re sure not to miss out on the action. And, if you have your kids with you, and they aren’t too into sports, bring your DVD case, because you have your own personal DVD player accompanying the 20 inch flat panel at your table.
Don’t want to pay the PayPerView fee for that next fight? Go out to Beef’s for a cold one and a burger and watch the fight. Many local pubs and restaurants charge a fee to watch the features on these channels, but at Beef’s just buy some food and you’re good to go.
The atmosphere is great and the environment fun, but how’s the food? One word: great. I wasn’t sure what to expect, having never been to Beef’s before, but I was very happy to finish each one from the slider basket I ordered. The delicious little ground steak patties housed in light but crispy onion rolls were finger-licking good. The modest looking fries were delish too, I actually finished mine, which NEVER happens. My buddy got the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, like he always does. His answer was a little corny when asked why he always orders it, but it must be genuine as he keeps coming back for more, “Great taste, great value.” Sounds like a beer commercial from the eighties.
I’ve got to go back to the family aspect of this place, though. They really do gear it around families and kids. As I walk around and gaze at all the sports memorabilia, I’m brought back to my childhood, dreaming of professional sports and the magic of being a part of something so loved by so many. I remember going out to eat with my parents at the same restaurant almost like a weekly tradition and playing video games until dinner came, then after while my parents finished up. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has video games for the kids to play and best of all, Beef’s feeds the kids for free every Tuesday night from 4 to close.
Let me say that again. Every Tuesday night, bring your family to Beef O Brady’s and your kids (under 12) will eat for free from 4 o’clock until the restaurant closes.
Main menu items range from $7 to $14 with categories from sandwiches to burgers to baskets to wraps. Plus, we can’t leave out the New York Strip for $10.99.
